R1233zd also known by its trade name Solstice® zd is a non-flammable, ultra-low GWP replacement for R123.

Developed by Chemours for low pressure centrifugal chillers and high temperature heat pumps and foam blowing.

It is said to offer better capacity and similar efficiency to R123.

R1233zd has a very low GWP of just 1 (IPCC Revision 5) making it a long-term sustainable replacement for R123.
