R442A (RS-50) is an HFC blend that is suitable to use in low and medium temperature refrigeration applications such as those used in commercial refrigeration. It can be used as a retrofit replacement for R22, R404A or R507 systems.

R422A has a low GWP, approximately half that of R404A or R507A, offering substantial environmental benefit.
